Choosing the right girth size:

A 50 cm girth fit most horses.

However, for best possible comfort and stability for you and your horse, you want the buckles of the girth to be as low as possible, but clear of your horse's elbow.

To descide what length girth is right for your horse, simply get a tape measure. Place the end a few inches above the elbow. Run it under your horse's belly, and measure to the same position on the other side. The measurement you get will indicate what girth size would be most suitable.

The bareback pad itself comes in one size and fits most horses. The  measurements are as shown on the left.

If you are interested in having a pad custom made, for example for a small pony. Please contact us for details.
